Russian Orthodox Church (Kantor Church)

This church is located in Qazvin city and is also known by the name of “Belfry”. The experts believe that it was built during World War II and belongs to the Orthodox Christians. There are interesting points in the design of this building. For instance, it was built in a cross shape which is recognizable with a little bit of attention when you enter the structure. In addition, the altar was built towards the East. The reason is the importance of sunrise to the Christians. There are two gravestones inside the area which historic structure experts believe belong to both a Russian pilot and an engineer.
