Shami Rashti

First, slice the onions into rings. Next, chop the beef into big pieces and put it in the pot. Add the chickpeas and split peas that you have soaked from the night before and have changed their water several times to the beef.

Also, add the spices to the meat and pour some water on them, and put the pot on heat for about 2 hours until the ingredients are completely cooked.

After the beef pieces are cooked pour the ingredients of the pot into another utensil and mash the ingredients with the help of the masher. If using a masher is not easy for you, use a mixer for this matter.

At this time, you should add 2 eggs and a bit of salt to the mixture and stir again. Now, the ingredients are ready to be fried. Pour some oil in a pan and pick a portion the size of a tangerine and put it inside the pan. Then make them in the shape of donuts.

You can serve Shami Rashti along with sliced tomatoes and some vegetables.
