One and a Half Day Matin Abad Astronomy Tour
Scheduled for the second half of the year
We depart at 6 AM from Tehran toward Kashan, have breakfast on the way and continue toward Kashan. About 10 we visit Borujerdi House and Sialk Hills. After lunch, we will visit Fin Garden and drive toward the Eco-camp of Matin Abad. Until sunset we wander around the desert, walk on the sand dunes or stay at the eco-camp. After the sunset and the darkness of the sky, we will learn about the constellations and the myths related to them. Later we will observe the crescent moon and shiny masses in the sky by a telescope and sets of binoculars. 21 O’clock would be the end of the first part of the observation. After dinner and a short rest, we will observe another part of the constellations that have risen. In the end, we will ask questions and get our answers for about half an hour. On the next morning, we will return to Tehran.
