One and a Half Day Varzaneh Astronomy Tour
Scheduled for the second half of the year
At 6 AM we depart from Tehran toward Varzaneh, have breakfast on the way and continue till we reach the destination. We will arrive at Varzaneh at about 10. Immediately, we go to the attractions of Varzaneh visit the historic district and then head towards Kabutar Khaneh. After having lunch and a short rest at the local house we drive toward Varzaneh Desert. Enjoy walking on the sand dunes and watching the sunset. After the sunset and darkness, we learn about the constellations and the myths related to them. Then we observe the shiny masses and the crescent moon by a telescope or binoculars. 21 O’clock would be the end of the observation. Later we return to our accommodation for dining and a short rest. Then spend half an hour discussing astronomy and become ready to go to sleep. The next morning after having breakfast we return to Tehran.
